Naming Ceremony
The Naming Ceremony dates as far back as the primitive days of mankind however, over time the ceremony and structure have improved immensely. The Naming Ceremony is also known as a Name Day or Name Giving; either way the main part of the ceremony is the naming of the baby, child or adult.
My ceremonies are aimed to provide you with a personal and professional experience. The ceremony will be tailored to suit your expectations and wishes. To hear an example of a naming poem please click here.
Commitment Ceremony
A commitment ceremony is similar to a wedding however, the main difference is a wedding is legal where a commitment ceremony is not. Commitment ceremonies are suited to couples who are in love and would like to show their family and friends that they have a never ending commitment to each other. This type of ceremony is also ideal for gay couples who are wishing to express their love. This ceremony is just as personal as a wedding and can be quite involved as well.
Renewal of Vows
A renewal of vows ceremony is an ideal way to reflect on your love for each other and to reaffirm your vows of commitment. A renewal of vows ceremony can be conducted at anytime throughout your relationship; there is not a specific time in a relationship that this ceremony needs to be done.
Family Unity Ceremony
This type of ceremony is excellent for blended families or for families that have just come together as a result of distance. The family unity ceremony focuses on the importance of the family unit being one. A procession of families is a good way to start this ceremony; that is when the family starts apart from each other then they all meet in the middle. This type of ceremony is very special and extremely personal, for the day I endeavour to include all members of the family into the ceremony.
Other types of ceremonies
I provide other types of ceremonies as well they are: Weddings, Coming of Age, New House, New Boat and Promise ceremonies. For more information and pricing details please 'contact me' |
